When choosing a sling size, use a soft measuring tape. Start measuring from the outer point of your shoulder across your front to the TOP of your opposite hip bone (about 2-3 inches below your belly button). If you are pregnant or have just had your baby, then you should measure across your back. The Right Fit: Everyone likes things to fit a certain way according to personal preference. If you get a measurement of 27 inches you can choose either a size 3 or 4. You can choose a size 3 for a snug fit, or a size 4 for a more relaxed fit. As long as the sling fits you, the size of your infant or toddler does not matter. The same sling can be used from newborn up to 35 pounds. You would only need to get a new sling in a different size if your weight or body changes dramatically. |
